La Prairie + Art Gallery of NSW Inaugural Female Artist Art Prize celebration | Wednesday 16th March 2022
Last night our all-female string quartet performed at the very first Art Gallery of NSW + La Prairie Art Award at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
This new award celebrates Australian women artists and is a partnership between the Art Gallery and @laprairie. The aim of this prize is to support and nurture the recipient’s practice and increase their international profile.
Big congratulations to Melbourne artist & former refugee Atong Atem for winning in this inaugural year.
