1. Confirmation deposit:

The confirmation deposit is $330 ($300 + $30 Gst) and will confirm your booking with Stringspace. The confirmation deposit is non-refundable.

Requirements & Check list for events:

1. Four chairs without arm rests.

2. Adequate reading light and performance space.

3. If an outdoor event shade or shelter from direct sunlight or rain.

4. For events longer than 1.5 hours one 10 - 15 minute break per hour.

5. Refreshments for events longer than 1.5 hours and a meal for events longer than 4 hours.

Extra Stringspace Information:

1.Musicians are expected to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of scheduled event.

2.Stringspace recommend making wedding ceremony bookings for 1.5 hours. So that music can be performed as your guests arrive.

3. All special music requests from our music lists must be finalised at least 10 days prior to your event.

4. Stringspace is also able to perform as a string trio, duo or violin/cello solo.

5. It is possible for the musicians to be seated in 1 area for the start of a booking (eg. ceremony) and another area for later in the same booking (eg. canapes). We recommend having chairs set up in both locations for a quick change.

Cancellation Policy:

The Stringspace $330 deposit is non-refundable.

Notice of any cancellation is required no later than 5 days prior to the start time of your event.

In the case of a cancellation occurring after this time, 50% of total hire charge (plus total booking $330 deposit) will be payable.

Limitation on Liability

The liability of Stringspace for any damages arising out of any booking, and/or any performance, is limited to the total amount of any fee which would otherwise be payable for such a booking or performance.

Stringspace is covered for Public Liability by Marsh Australia for up to $10,000,000.
