stringspace: the artists

Stringspace are Melbourne's leading classical musicians. They perform with many of Australia's most high profile orchestra's including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria & the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Our musicians have also performed on TV shows such as Australian Idol, Home & Away and Dancing With the Stars. They have shared the stage with singers such as Andreas Bocelli & Delta Goodrem and have recorded with musicians such as Kylie Minogue.

Latest news: Stringspace String Quartet performed for fashion designer Alannah Hill @ a VIP Soiree event held at her Chapel Street Store in Melbourne on Wednesday 8 October, 2008.

APEC Summit

Stringspace were chosen by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet to be the feature String Quartet at the APEC summit luncheon hosted by John Howard for the President of the People's Republic of China - His Excellency Hu Jintao at the Sofitel Wentworth. This event was also attended by Former Prime Ministers Bob Hawke and Gough Whitlam and the now current Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Stringspace also provided music for the APEC luncheon hosted by the former Australian Prime Minister John Howard in honour of His Excellency Vladimir Putin - President of the Russian Federation at Guillaumes - Sydney Opera House. This event was also attended by PM Kevin Rudd
